GOALS is an OCN accredited programme; validated at Recognition Panel by OCNOTC and recognised by the LSC as a bespoke programme. The programme and its units are known as “other provision”.  Organisations otherwise often include it in their non-specified personal development or key skills part of their bid.

The OCN codes for the units are :
Goals Level 1 -  unit code BRG086    OTC code AF51TR001
Goals Level 2 -  unit5 code BRG087   OTC code AF52TR001

The learner demonstrates the ability to learn at these given levels and the knowledge required to achieve in the given subjects.

The use of GOALS alongside other courses can also be mapped to a set of learning outcomes from the QCA Progression Award entitled “Developing Personal Development Skills Level 1&2”.

The GOALS programme is also accredited by ASDAN at Entry level and level 1 and are worth either two or three credits each. The completed course is worth two credits and the course + completing the 30-day follow-up toolbox for three credits.  GOALS and Motiv8 can also be used as part of a bigger ASDAN accreditation – e.g. the Bronze or Silver awards or the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE).  You can also visit the ASDAN websites for further information.
